Refund Policy

At MiljøLab ApS we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Below we describe our policy for returns, refunds and complaints.

Right of withdrawal 

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us. 

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods or we entered into an agreement for a service.                       

Goods

If you have ordered several different items in the same purchase, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.

In the case of the purchase of multiple lots or parts, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the last lot or part.

The deadline means that you have 14 days from receipt or the day we made the agreement to notify us that you want  to cancel the agreement . You can send an email to kontakt@miljoelab.dk or use the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions.

You cannot cancel your purchase by refusing to receive the goods without notifying us at the same time.

Cancellation of part of the purchase  If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order .

Please note that you will not receive a refund for shipping costs if you regret part of your purchase. 

Return of goods

Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us. 

You must pay for the package to be returned, and you are liable if any damage occurs during transport.

No right of withdrawal These agreements cannot be cancelled: 

Delivery of goods that are likely to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly, 

Delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery, 

Delivery of non-financial services (laboratory tests) that are either not provided for payment or have been delivered already, if you have previously accepted that the service will be initiated and that your right of withdrawal will thus be lost.

The condition of the item when you return it

If the product has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, you can only get a part of the purchase price back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the product, and in some cases this may mean that you can only get the shipping costs back.

We recommend that you return the item in the original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, it may result in a decrease in the value of the item.

Refund of the purchase amount 

If you cancel the agreement , you will get your money back. If the item has diminished in value, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (this does not apply to additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your notification that you wish to cancel the agreement. 

We will refund the money using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

We may withhold payment until we have received the item unless you send us documentation that you have returned it. 

Especially for services

If you have given your consent for laboratory tests to begin, but you still wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please be aware that we will charge reasonable costs for the work that has already been delivered.

Especially for goods

We may withhold payment until we have received the item unless you send us documentation that you have returned it.

We only accept packages that are sent directly to the address.

You can also cancel your purchase by notifying us and delivering it in person to the above address by prior arrangement. 

Right of withdrawal in business purchases

All B2B trade is exempt from the rules on cancellation and return rights.

Right of complaint 

When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Danish Sales Act apply to purchases of goods, but not services. This means that you do not have a 2-year right of complaint for services.

Right of complaint
The rules of the Danish Sales Act apply to purchases of goods but not services. However, you still have the right to complain if there are errors or deficiencies in the service. You must complain within a reasonable time and preferably as soon as possible, as time may be crucial to our ability to remedy the situation.

If you are not  satisfied with the service, you can contact us at kontakt@miljoelab.dk .

On the other hand, you have a  24-month right of complaint for goods purchased. Contact us before sending the goods. If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either have the goods repaired, exchanged, your money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

You must make a complaint within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the fault. If you make a complaint within two months after the fault is discovered, the complaint will always be timely. 

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.

Limitation of liability

Our tests are indicative and should be supplemented with professional advice in case of critical findings.

We disclaim any liability for damage or loss caused by the use of our products, unless otherwise provided by mandatory rules of Danish law.

Complaints procedure
If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, please contact us at 
kontakt@miljoelab.dk . If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via  the Complaints Portal for Nævnenes Hus .

In order to complain, the product or service you want to complain about must have cost at least DKK 1,220 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.

When you shop at an e-labeled webshop, you can have your case processed by the e-label for free - regardless of the amount. Read more here .

If you live in Denmark and have traded with a seller outside Denmark, but within the EU, Norway, Iceland or the UK, you can complain to Consumer Europe  here.

If you live in another EU country, Norway or Iceland, you can contact the European Consumer Agency in that country.
