How to use the test

Take the petri dish without a lid and place it in the desired room for 1 hour where you want to measure the air quality.

After one hour, put the lid on the bowl and store it at room temperature for four days.

You then read the number of colonies and assess the level based on the accompanying interpretation guide.

How many should I use?
In order to get the best result, it is generally recommended that you always buy at least 1 piece per 40 square meters. This ensures the best possible coverage. In addition, we generally recommend that you always test several places in the home at the same time, in order to have some results to compare with, and track down where the problem is.
How does the air test for mold work?
The air test uses a petri dish that is placed in the desired room for one hour to collect airborne mold spores. The bowl is then closed and stored for four days, after which the result can be read and evaluated with the accompanying instructions.
How do I perform the mold air test?
The test is simple to perform and requires no technical knowledge. Do like this:
- Open the petri dish and place it uncovered in the desired room for one hour where you will measure for mold.
- Put the lid on the bowl when the hour is up and store it at room temperature for four days.
- After four days, the number of colonies in the bowl is compared with the accompanying instructions, so you can assess whether there are signs of mold in the room.
How soon will I receive my test kit?
Orders are shipped quickly and delivered within 1-3 business days. Please note, however, that we only ship the item Monday to Thursday to avoid unnecessary delays during shipping. You can also collect your order in Tølløse within 24 hours.
Is the test difficult to use?
